Antho User Agreement

1. Agreement and service

This agreement is between you and NaviCube, Antho's developer and publisher (“we”, “us”). It covers the Antho browser extension, its features, and the local backups or standalone navigation pages it generates. Store disclosures, in-product notices, and the Privacy Policy form part of this agreement. Where they conflict, the newer, clearer statement that provides stronger protection to users prevails.

Antho is a local-first new-tab navigation workspace for links, categories, pages, widgets, notes, tasks, appearance, search, and backups. It does not require an account and does not provide cloud sync or account recovery operated by us. Packaged demonstration content works locally; network features run only when you choose and authorize them.

2. License and intellectual property

Subject to this agreement, you receive a non-exclusive right to use Antho. The project source code is made available under the included MIT License, which governs copying, modification, and distribution of that source code. Antho and NaviCube names, marks, interface design, and materials not covered by that license remain protected by applicable law.

Third-party names, icons, and links are shown only for identification and navigation. They belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement, authorization, or partnership.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for content that you add, import, generate, export, access, or publish. Do not use Antho for unlawful activity, infringement, fraud, malicious scanning, interference with network security, bypassing third-party safeguards, or disruption of services. Do not process personal, confidential, or protected information that you are not entitled to use. Organizational users must also follow their own security and data rules.

4. Third parties and fees

Recommendations, icons, wallpapers, weather, search, AI, and link checks may connect directly to third parties or to addresses you save or configure. Their availability, content, pricing, terms, and data practices are controlled by their operators; see the recipient disclosure in the Privacy Policy. Unless a Store listing states otherwise, Antho itself is free. API, network, and third-party charges, quotas, and disputes are between you and the relevant provider.

5. AI, weather, and link checks

AI: AI runs only after you configure an HTTPS endpoint and actively save, test, or run a task. Configuration tests send small capability probes. Smart organization sends locally cleaned page titles, hostnames, path keywords, source folders, and limited title evidence; content generation sends the topic and details you provide. Requests include your configured API key. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, biased, infringing, or unsuitable; review it yourself and never rely on it as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional decisions.

Weather: weather is general information only and may be delayed or inaccurate. It is not a substitute for official alerts or safety-critical decisions.

Link checks: Antho sends limited HEAD requests and, only when required, constrained GET requests; it does not parse page content. Network conditions, logins, and anti-bot measures can produce inaccurate results. Confirm before deleting a link.

6. Data, backup, and export

• Browser cleanup, profile damage, device failure, uninstallation, reset, or an incorrect import can lose local data. Export backups regularly and keep them safe.
• API keys are AES-GCM encrypted in a separate local extension record and excluded from workspace and navigation exports. The local unlock password is not stored. Protect your device, operating-system account, browser profile, and password.
• Exported files can contain links, categories, widget content, appearance settings, or embedded images. Review and remove information before sharing.
• A standalone exported HTML page can load remote wallpaper resources and connect to third parties when its visitor uses search or links. Anyone publishing it is responsible for its content, links, required notices, and compliance.

7. Changes, termination, and disclaimer

We may update, change, or discontinue features for fixes, security, browser compatibility, or legal requirements. Third-party interfaces, networks, Store policy, or events outside our control can also make features unavailable. Material changes to this agreement or data practices will be dated and disclosed as required; processing that needs renewed consent starts only after consent is obtained.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Antho is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee continuous, error-free, secure, accurate, lawful, or available third-party content, weather, link-check results, or AI output. This does not exclude mandatory consumer rights. This agreement does not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or unlawful personal-information processing.

8. Law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without excluding mandatory protections that apply where you live. Disputes should first be discussed by email; if unresolved, either party may bring a claim before a court with lawful jurisdiction. Minors must use Antho with a guardian's guidance. A guardian must provide any required consent before a child under 14 enables location, AI, or another network feature.
